Our mission is to
provide an opportunity for single residents to meet, share experiences, and
enjoy a variety of planned social activities.
We are a unique club that offers a craft for all. Our mission is to fulfill the artistic needs of our residents by
offering assistance and sharing talents with the experienced and the neophyte
in our community.
& YOUNG AT HEART
Our mission is to provide a convenient and fun social outlet for our members and to inspire and create genuine friendships.
Our mission is to promote friendly competition among our members and guests. We meet Wednesday and Thursday evenings for open house 9-Ball Competition. Sign up is at 6:45pm; matches begin at 7pm. The Club supports a team during summer and winter competitions. For furtherinformation, call Jerry Fuchs (732-3661) or Paul Lefkowitz (740-9610).
Bridge is open to all residents. We play a duplicate bridge
game every Monday evening starting at 6:30 PM from mid-October through May. All
levels of play are welcome.
The Buzz is a TV news and information program created by the residents for the residents.
The Pap Corps, Champions for Cancer Research, Valencia Lakes Chapter-- Our mission is to enable and support, through the funds we raise, the vital research programs at Sylvester
Comprehensive Cancer Center, University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. Our goal is to help create a world without cancer.
Our club’s mission
is to provide technology awareness to Valencia Lakes residents. Members are
introduced to the latest advances in all computer operating systems as well as
the most recent advances in the world of technology.
C.O.P.S is an organization of volunteers who are willing to patrol
the community in a COP vehicle for 3 hours/week in order to enhance security
within the community.
Cultural Club’s monthly meetings have a wide variety of entertainment and
lectures. Throughout the year, we offer shows, operas and concerts at local
theatres. Additionally, several overnight trips to interesting locations are planned.
The Golf Club provides a social context for all golf-playing residents. Special events include: a putting contest, three scrambles, two breakfasts, a tournament, and an annual dinner dance with live
Our chapter is part of the Women's Zionist Organization of America, the largest volunteer organization and the largest women's organization in America. We are committed to strengthening the unity of the
Jewish people through education and health awareness programs, as well as by
advocating for issues of importance to women and to the American Jewish community.
JEWISH HERITAGE CLUB
The aim of the Jewish Heritage Club is to keep Jewish Culture alive. We provide entertainment with a Yiddish Tam. Our Club is open to all residents.
Our mission is to provide an
opportunity for the men in our community to come together for camaraderie, breakfast,
entertainment, and to become informed.
As part of a world-wide, progressive, Jewish women's organization, our mission is to enhance the status of women and children in Israel and the United States. Our purpose is to help NA'AMAT Israel provide educational and social services. We are part of NA'AMAT USA which advocates for the US-Israel relationship and also helps strengthen Jewish and Zionist life in communities throughout the United States.
Our mission is to promote interaction and friendship between our residents and guests. We offer afternoons of good fun, a simple form of exercise, and an opportunity to sharpen reflexes. All levels of play are encouraged.
Our main goal is to promote the enjoyment of tennis for all residents. By participating in tournaments, outings and social events, the Valencia Lakes’ tennis community can continue to enjoy the sport while improving tennis skills.
Every year, the Players
rehearse for several months in order to put on a show for the enjoyment of
friends, families and neighbors. Our standard of professionalism is the result of hard work and
dedication to the performing arts. All residents who enjoy acting, singing,
dancing and working "behind the scenes" are encouraged to "JOIN THE FUN."
Our mission is to provide an opportunity for residents to sing in a chorus. All residents are welcome to join. No audition is necessary – just a desire to sing! We are not a sing-a-long as we spend many months preparing a repertoire for public performances.
Our Club provides
recreation, travel, entertainment and social functions for all women homeowners
and residents in Valencia Lakes. Our revenue is derived from membership dues and functions sponsored by the Club. Monthly breakfast meetings are held from October through May. In
addition to our monthly meetings, other exciting activities are planned
for the membership.
